No News is Good News & Good News is Great

I have some great news. Emilia is down to 3 liters/min on high flow oxygen and she is doing great. Once she is on 2 liters and doing well at 21% then they will test room air. Once she’s on room air with no episodes for 48 hours, we can go home!!

She’s hit all other milestones:

Eating on own

Weighs 4lbs (1980 grams to be exact :) that’s 4.4lbs or 4lbs 5oz!

Regulates her own temperature

Heart murmur nearly gone

I am excited and nervous, could only be a couple more weeks now! We don't even have bottles or a pack of diapers!! We have to get all this stuff home! We are going to have a baby 24/7 soon!

She's so big (everything is relative), we were able to donate her tiny socks. That's about the only thing she's grown out of besides the smallest diaper but we're still very proud of our 4lbs baby cheeks :)
